NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES: 44
TOTAL SCHRUTE BUCKS: 106,014
Average bucks per employee: 2,409

The Office Season up to date:
This season started out a little slow with the office gossiping and feeling the hits of the recession and Jim's promotion to co-manager(I am still uncertain how I feel about this).
The highlight of course was heading to Niagara for a Jam wedding complete with dance routine and so sweet.
The season hangs on to its upward momentum with a hilarious return to office humor with mafia and followed by surprisingly hostile episode The lover. Is anyone else tired of Pam being such a B!@*%^?
Next weeks episode is Titled Koi pond and finds are characters ready for spooky fun, along with this is the premiere of online web series subtle sexuality, check out some behind the scenes footage here: http://www.nbc.com/The_Office/video/clips/subtle-sexuality-behind-the-scenes/1168697/

DMI Tasks

This weeks task is Find the Mallard......
If you have played you know its a pain in the butt, if you haven't played yet make sure to check out the forum first for tips
even with tips i couldn't find the mallards in Michael's office
I hope we never do this again :)
Also voting is now up for the Do's and Don't Task, make sure to get out there and vote, good luck all :)

What I Learned in The Forum this week:
1.Canton had its first dundies of 3.0 despite many regulars still a no show in the branch. Winning this round was papertiger44 with the long overdue dundie (and it was long over due, if you haven't checked out Michael's juke box yet its hilarious, ill be posting submissions from the thread in the newsletter); Tylnn925 also snags a golden salesman, the quick draw dundie for being the very first member of 3.0.. Congrats to both of you, well deserved!!!

2. Everyone is excited for the newsletter to be back!!! I am honored and with all the new interest and you're great ideas it will be better then ever!!!!!

3. Ummm the forum is awfully slow, i know everyone isn't in the branch yet but lets get gabbing, i need some wit for this thing... dirty jokes, name calling..... something!!!

* 250g (9oz) thin rice noodles
* 1tbsp groundnut or sunflower oil
* 4tbsp laksa paste
* 750ml (1 1/4pints) chicken stock
* 400ml can of coconut milk
* 2 skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
* 1 red pepper, deseeded and sliced

* 4 spring onions, finely sliced
* Handful of coriander leaves
* Handful of mint leaves
* 2tbsp chopped peanuts

METHOD

1. Steam the pumpkin chunks until tender. Place the rice noodles in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Leave to soak for 10 minutes. Drain and keep aside.
2. Heat the oil in a wok over a medium heat. Add the laksa paste and fry for 1 minute. Stir in the stock, bring to the boil, then add the coconut milk. Return to the boil and simmer for 2 minutes.
3. Season the chicken pieces with salt and add to the wok, along with the red pepper and pumpkin. Cook for 5-8 minutes, stirring.
4. Divide the noodles and chicken between 4 bowls and top with the beansprouts, spring onion, and the coriander and mint leaves. Spoon the coconut soup over the top and garnish each bowl with chopped peanuts, red chili slices and a lime wedge. Serve straight away.

Weekly Literary selection:
For all you Book worms and artsy types ( like myself) I have added the literary selection a featured poem, song,quote, verse limerick whatever, so send over your submissions and enlighten all of us.
This week I choose a selection from Michael's Jukebox a delightful creation by our own paper tiger:
to the tune of "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire:

At last it's over- we've finally arrived in October,
Every Canton, Spokane, and Hilo-er,
Is back in their branch today!

Our branch was shuttered,
Against corporate we all muttered,
It was like being stone cold sober,
OLC took our threads away.

DMI- now it's finally over,
DMI- happy in October,
DMI- branches open any day!

We really missed you,
Hanging on the main boards just to see you,
OLC knew we would probe her,
"Will it be like it was in May?"

Now October- with a task that's a real frontal lober,
But the Schrutebucks will put us over,
The two thousand we need to play!

DMI- Hard part now is over,
DMI- happy in October,
DMI- branches back and here to stay!

Song of the Week:
This weeks song pick is Forever by Chris Brown. Yes I know he's a bad guy, but the song was in the wedding montage and it makes me smile.
